WHAT ARE THE SOME OF THE WAYS I CAN SUPPORT THE CAUSE?
1. Buy our merchandise! Every cent goes directly towards supporting our programs. Added bonus: you get something rad to wear or a poster you will love forevuh and evuh or the koozie you've been meaning to get so your beer-hand doesn't freeze anymore.
2. Sponsor a Writing Workshop! For a donation of $100 to $400, and you will not only create a job for a professional working poet, you will provide a unique once-in-a-lifetime educational opportunity for a large group of deserving humans.
3. Help us pay our bills! It costs us only $500 a month to operate a full time workshop / classroom / meeting space and writers' studio serving over 800 writers each year. Any donation helps keep this sweet nurturing space alive.
4. Connect us with your company's giving program! Do you work for a large corporation or local Long Beach company that makes you live with flourescent lighting but nonetheless puts a roof over your head and makes you feel useful? Does that company have a community giving program? Connect us with your corporate giving or grant program so we can apply for a grant on behalf of ourselves and other amazing collaborating literary arts organizations and we will never forget your kindness.
