For all those folk worried and anxious, scared and starved for Drums, here are a few clips of past performances.

The Drums Inside Your Chest is a critically acclaimed performance poetry concert series created by poet and actress Amber Tamblyn and produced by the Write Now Poetry Society. Drums is a series of Boadway-quality theatre shows that feature the best performance poets in American today performing with musicians, magician and other artists in what has been hailed as "world class" and "a Woodstock of poetic celebration." The 2007 Drums was held at the Brentwood Theatre, and the 2008 and 2009 Drums were both held at the New Los Angeles Theatre Centre in downtown Los Angeles, and since 2010 it has been held at the amazing Largo at The Coronet Theatre.  

Footage from the inaugural Drums event has been transformed by director Stephen Latty into a concert film by the same name, and has premiered at both the 2009 Newport Beach Film Festival and San Fransisco DocFest, as well as at special screenings in New York and across the country.  Combining footage of the the performances that night with backstage interviews, Drums gives its audience an experience that is at turns spine tingling, heart wrenching, gut funny and seriously profound, featuring award-winning poets: Amber Tamblyn, Beau Sia, Derrick Brown, Mindy Nettifee, Buddy Wakefield, Jeffrey McDaniel & Bucky Sinister.
