Write Now Poetry Society is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing the audience for poetry through performance, education, publishing and grant-making. We believe in the power of poetry to transform all kinds of things that were born to transform.  We are especially addled by the work of poets who are both great writers and great performers, an intersection of talents that continues to push the boundaries of what poetry is capable of as an artform.

Entering its fith year, Write Now Poetry Society is proud to produce the critically acclaimed poetry concert series the Drums Inside Your Chest series, curate poetry events at festivals nationwide, and work with individuals, museums and cultural organizations to bring innovative poetry/art/music collaborations to life.  Check this site for updates on what Write Now plans to do next to make more sweet love to poetry, and browse around to discover how you can get involved in our growing society of believers.
